Top Ducks News

  • Ducks' Roger McQueen: Inks entry-level deal

McQueen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks on Saturday.

McQueen's contract will begin in 2026-27. In the meantime, he's been playing for Anaheim's AHL affiliate, San Diego, on an amateur tryout agreement that he inked April 1. McQueen had 11 goals, 27 points and 45 PIM across 36 appearances with Providence College in 2025-26. He's also collected a goal and three points in six regular-season outings with San Diego.

  • Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Game 1 starter

Dostal will defend the road net against Edmonton on Monday in Game 1, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports.

Dostal posted a 30-20-4 record with a 3.10 GAA and an .888 save percentage in 56 appearances during the 2025-26 regular season. In two outings against the Oilers over that time, he allowed eight goals on 60 shots en route to a 1-1-0 record.

  • Ducks' Tristan Luneau: Sent to AHL

Luneau was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Friday.

Luneau joined the Ducks for their season finale Thursday, and he scored a goal on two shots en route to a 5-4 victory over Nashville. The 22-year-old defenseman also has 10 goals and 41 points in 69 appearances with San Diego during the 2025-26 regular season.

  • Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Pockets helper in win

Trouba notched an assist and two hits in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Predators.

Since a two-assist effort March 6 versus the Canadiens, Trouba has been limited to five helpers over the last 20 contests of the regular season. The defenseman will be valued for his physicality and his shutdown work during the postseason, which will see him with his hands full against the Oilers. Trouba ends the regular season at 35 points -- his most in four years -- as well as 166 shots on net, 143 hits, 149 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 81 appearances.

  • Ducks' Tristan Luneau: Nets tying goal Thursday

Luneau scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Predators.

Luneau made his first NHL appearance of the season in the regular-season finale. The 22-year-old defenseman picked up his first point for the Ducks since the 2023-24 campaign. He's still young enough to be a prospect, but he's been passed by some other blueliners during his development. Luneau will likely head back to AHL San Diego for the Gulls' playoff run, but considering they barely made the postseason, it wouldn't be shocking to see Luneau recalled again with the Black Aces soon.

  • Ducks' Alex Killorn: Three points in last four games

Killorn notched a goal Thursday in a 5-4 win over Nashville.

Killorn has been a sturdy middle-six performer for the Ducks this season. He has three points, including two goals, in his last four games, and he finished the season with 33 points, including 15 goals, in 82 games. Killorn's two Stanley Cup rings from his time with the Lightning will surely be a focal point for the young Ducks as they enter their first postseason since 2018.

  • Ducks' John Carlson: Fifth 60-point season

Carlson picked up two assists in a 5-4 win over Nashville on Thursday.

It was Carlson's fifth career 60-point season (14 goals, 46 assists). He, Jakob Chychrun and Moritz Seider finished in a tie for 11th in NHL scoring from the blue line. Carlson is in rare air for defenders with so many 60-point campaigns -- the only active defensemen with more are Erik Karlsson (eight) and Brent Burns (six).

  • Ducks' Ville Husso: Wins season finale

Husso made 17 saves in a 5-4 win over the Predators on Thursday.

Husso finished the regular season with a 10-8-2 record, 3.25 GAA and .884 save percentage in 19 starts. Barring a twist of fate, Husso will warm the end of the bench as Lukas Dostal leads the Ducks' first postseason charge since 2018.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Three-game, three-point streak

LaCombe scored a goal Thursday in a 5-4 win over Nashville.

He roofed a snap shot through traffic from the blue line and past Juuse Saros to knot the game 2-2 with 21 seconds left in the first period. LaCombe heads into the postseason on a three-game, three-point streak (one goal, two assists). His 58 points (10 goals, 48 assists) put him 16th on the scoring list for NHL defenders.

  • Ducks' Troy Terry: Nets game-winner

Terry scored the game-winning goal Thursday in a 5-4 victory over the Predators.

Terry broke the tie with a power-play goal at 17:06 of the third period. It was his first goal in seven games (two power-play assists). Terry delivered 57 points in 61 games this season, but failed to hit the 20-goal mark for the first time since 2020-21. He fired 19 snipes in 2025-26.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Three helpers in Game 82 win

Granlund had three assists in a 5-4 win over the Predators on Thursday.

Granlund, who finished with 41 points (19 goals, 22 assists) in 58 games this season, is one of only a few Ducks with playoff experience under their belt. He, Alex Killorn, John Carlson, Chris Kreider and Frank Vatrano will be counted on to lead the Ducks on their first playoff run since 2018.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Nets 41st goal of season

Gauthier scored a goal Thursday in a 5-4 win over Nashville. He fired six shots.

It was Gauthier's 41st goal of the season, which moved him past Teemu Selanne (40; 2005-06) for the 10th-highest single-season goal total in franchise history. Gauthier finished the season on a six-game, seven-point scoring streak (five goals, two assists). He produced 69 points and fired 285 shots in 76 games this season.

  • Ducks' Radko Gudas: Unavailable Thursday

Gudas (lower body) is expected to miss Thursday's season finale against Nashville, per the NHL media site.

Gudas also missed six of Anaheim's past seven games. He will conclude the regular season with two goals, 13 points, 67 PIM, 164 hits and 88 blocks in 56 appearances with Anaheim. He still might be available for Game 1 of the Ducks' first-round series against Edmonton.

  • Ducks' Chris Kreider: Back in action Thursday

Kreider (illness) will play Thursday versus the Predators, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Kreider is set to return after a one-game absence. He should be in the top six and on a power-play unit for this contest. The 34-year-old Kreider has bounced back well this year with 50 points in 74 outings after producing just 30 points in 68 games in 2024-25.

  • Ducks' Ville Husso: In goal Thursday

Husso will guard the road goal versus the Predators on Thursday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Husso will get the start even though the Ducks still have positioning to play for. He has gone 2-1-1 over his last four games, but he's allowed 16 goals on just 102 shots (.843 save percentage) in that span. The Predators are without a few regulars for their season finale, but Husso will need to do better than he has lately to give the Ducks the best chance of finishing where they want to in the standings.

  • Ducks' Tristan Luneau: Called up by Anaheim

Luneau was recalled from AHL San Diego on Wednesday.

Luneau made 13 regular-season NHL appearances for the Ducks between the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns, but he was sent to the minors before the start of the 2025-26 season and hasn't been called up before Wednesday. Luneau will be an option for Thursday's regular-season finale against Nashville if the Ducks intend to rest some of their key contributors ahead of the playoffs.

  • Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Tagged with another loss

Dostal stopped 17 of 20 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Wild.

Dostal has been slumping of late, earning only one win in his last seven starts. During that span, he has gone 1-5-1 with a 3.72 GAA and a subpar .850 save percentage. He has a 30-20-4 record with a 3.10 GAA and an .888 save percentage across 56 appearances this season.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Scores twice vs. Minnesota

McTavish scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Wild.

McTavish accounted for all the offense the Ducks could muster in Tuesday's loss. The 23-year-old playmaker is ending the regular season on a hot streak with points in five of his last six appearances, tallying three goals and three assists over that stretch. He has 17 goals and 40 points through 74 appearances this campaign.
