    I went ahead and added a copy/paste shortcut to my Microsoft Word for "Fade the Twins on the road" as it will get plenty of use on my reliable Commodore 64. I won't win them all -- and won't just blindly do it -- but certainly expect many. Didn't see anything from Wednesday's easy win to think the Royals lose behind Cole Ragans on Thursday. He disappointed in 2025 but his one start vs. the Twins was a dominant win. Minnesota now has dropped three in a row by multiple runs but there's a light at the end of the tunnel as the club finally gets home for the first time after this one. Easy to be looking forward to that.

    Analysis

    A sharp total lies with tonight’s matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Charlotte Hornets. I’m looking for the same scenario that caused the Hornets to have a scoring dip, in the prior matchup against the Suns to impact Phoenix this time. Charlotte was on a West Coast road trip when they had a flat performance and scored just 99 points. Now it’s the Suns in that spot, who beat the Hornets by simply living at the free throw line with thirteen more made free throws. Tight game with more scoring, but we get the under to cash.

    Analysis

    Anthony Edwards is questionable to suit up tonight against the Pistons. If he does return to the court, I believe there is a strong likelihood he is on a minutes limit as he appeared to be on a hard cap in his previous appearance. This would also qualify as a difficult matchup versus a very good Pistons defense.

    Analysis

    Jalen Duren has had an All-NBA caliber season and has emerged as one of the leagues best Centers. That being said, he’s still a bit raw from a shot making standpoint. He’ll face a difficult matchup against a Minnesota team that defends the paint well, which is where Duren does the majority of his scoring.

    Analysis

    My number: Stars -132 Expected Starters: Helleybuck (WPG) - Oettinger (DAL) My projected number is shorter than market but I'll admit trying to quantify motivation at this juncture of the campaign can be tricky. Dallas looks like a side that knows they're locked into the 2nd spot in the Central while the Jets need every point possible. Quietly the Jets youth movement on the back end has paid off and they're showing signs of life down the stretch. The dog is live here for me and worth a shot
